Trainer at CITYPILATES

How did you get into Pilates?

After years of dancing, I was fascinated by the flowing and precise movements of Pilates. Pilates creates an opportunity to simultaneously strengthen the body, build up the deep muscles, improve posture, strengthen body awareness and reduce stress. For me, all of this combined in one workout is the perfect balance to everyday life and a great complement to dancing.

What do you like about Pilates?

I love the combination of strength, coordination, flexibility and relaxation that Pilates brings together. After a class, I feel invigorated, happy and calmer inside.

Why did you become a Pilates trainer?

Anxiety, which is a recurring problem in my everyday life, made me more and more interested in the connection between exercise and mental health. Knowing that exercise not only makes you physically healthier, but also has a big impact on your mental health, I trained as a personal trainer, which is how I came to Pilates. Pilates has really helped me to develop a better feeling for my body and helps me to become stronger both physically and mentally. I would love to pass on this feeling.

What is special about your Pilates teaching style?

My aim is for everyone to feel comfortable in my classes and to leave with a smile after a lesson.
