Foundations of Posture: Your HIPS start at your FEET

November 9th, 2024 | 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Workshop Details:

A good posture starts and ends at your feet. You stand on them every day, yet often they don't function as nature intended. Your feet are the cornerstone of your body's alignment.

Most feet don't function optimally, which can lead to pain and restrictions further up the body such as lower back pain, hip imbalance, impingement, and knee pain.

In this workshop led by Ana Pernas, you'll learn essential techniques to optimize your foot function, promoting strength and health throughout your body.

Meet Your Instructor: Ana Pernas

Ana Pernas, born in Uruguay with Italian roots, transitioned from a corporate career to Pilates after discovering its profound impact on her wellness. Certified since 2004, Ana trained at the prestigious Pilates Center in Boulder, Colorado, earning her Advanced Teacher Training Certificate in 2012. She further enriched her expertise with The Kathleen Stanford Grant Heritage Training with Cara Reeser in 2014.

Ana moved to Zurich in 2013, where she combines her passion for teaching Pilates with her love for the outdoors. An avid marathon runner, Ana has completed the New York Marathon, the Jungfrau Marathon, and several half marathons globally. She brings a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of Pilates' traditional teachings to her classes.

Don't miss this opportunity to transform your posture and enhance your well-being from the ground up.
