WANDA PFRÜNDER
Trainer at CITYPILATES
How did you get into Pilates?
I've always been very keen on sport and still like to try out new things.
A few years ago, I signed up for my first reformer class out of sheer curiosity and was almost shockingly in love.
What do you like about Pilates?
Pilates is extremely versatile: you can specialize in different directions and always find suitable and challenging exercises, regardless of your personal starting point and goals.
After training, I always feel light and happy and have an inner calm, even though my body has been put under a lot of strain - I really appreciate this combination.
Why did you become a Pilates trainer?
The more Pilates lessons I attended, the more I wanted to understand the exact physical processes behind the exercises.
I began to read about anatomy and movement and my interest continued to grow - that's how I came to train as a teacher.
I really enjoy teaching and it gives me the opportunity to respond to people's individual needs and support them in their personal well-being.
What is special about your Pilates teaching style?
I try to pass on my own enthusiasm with a lot of heart and humor - through varied training that challenges you but leaves you with a very good feeling.
