Zsuzsanna Bálint

Trainerin bei CITYPILATES

How did you get into Pilates?

Years of sitting behind a desk as a consultant took a toll on my body. Back pain crept in, and I found myself craving something that was purely mine, an hour to disconnect from screens and deadlines. Pilates was that hour. My mind went quiet, my back started to improve. I kept coming back.

What do you like about Pilates?

The precision. Every movement has intention behind it, nothing is accidental, nothing is wasted. I love that Pilates asks for your full presence, and that's exactly what makes it such a powerful reset.

Why did you become a Pilates trainer?

In my previous career I worked closely with clients, understanding where they were and helping them move forward. When Pilates became a serious part of my life, I realised I didn't want to leave that kind of work behind. Teaching felt like the natural next step, and honestly, the most energising one.

What is special about your Pilates teaching style?

Before becoming a Pilates teacher, I spent ten years as a professional Latin-American dancer. That background taught me to read bodies closely: how someone holds tension, where they compensate, what they actually need. I bring that attention into every session. Posture, alignment, the details that make the difference.
