Trainerin bei CITYPILATES

WHAT BROUGHT YOU INTO PILATES?

After 15 years of practicing and competing in rhythmic gymnastics, I was searching for a lower impact discipline that allowed me to maintain my flexibility, strength, coordination, and performance. I tried different kinds of sports and cheerleading, as well as a more holistic approach to movement, such as yoga. But only to find exactly what I was looking for when I discovered Pilates through my gymnastics trainer, who happens to be a Pilates teacher.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT PILATES?

It brings me to the present moment and challenges me through very simple yet precised movements. The breath, control and focus mixed with fluid movements enhance my mind-body connection and allows me to be optimal in any other sports that I do today. I absolutely love the concept of working “from the inside to the outside”, that the motor of any movement begins from the core.

WHY DID YOU BECOME A PILATES TEACHER?

Coming from gymnastics world, movement has always been a part of my life. How the human body functions fascinate and drive me to want to understand it on a deeper level. It is such a great feeling to be able to share my passion for pilates, movement, anatomy and physiology. Pilates is for everyone. I truly believe that we can all benefit from it regardless of your background or experience.

WHAT'S SPECIAL ABOUT YOUR TEACHING?

I love to be creative and am always up for challenges so be sure to expect innovative, athletic, and acrobatic exercises. While keeping it safe for the body and of course, accessible to everyone!
